What is DiffFlow?
DiffFlow is a website change detection platform built for developers, growth teams, and compliance officers. It monitors target URLs and DOM elements, eliminates false alerts via deterministic HTML normalization, and dispatches real-time alerts when content changes.
How does the zero-noise normalization engine work?
Before calculating cryptographic SHA-256 hashes, our Rust pipeline parses the target HTML and removes script tags, style blocks, tracking pixels, ad injections, and ephemeral timestamps. This ensures you only receive notifications when actual content changes.
What polling intervals are available?
Free accounts poll every 60 seconds. Pro plans poll every 30 seconds with priority queue placement.
Can I monitor password-protected or internal pages?
You can configure custom HTTP headers, cookies, and HTTP Basic Authentication for publicly routable endpoints that require credentials. DiffFlow blocks private IP ranges (localhost, 10.0.0.0/8, 192.168.0.0/16, etc.) to prevent internal network scanning.
What notification channels are supported?
Email, SMS, browser push notifications, and HTTP webhooks (with native formatting for Slack and Discord). Webhook alerts include structured JSON payloads containing status codes, latencies, and before/after diffs.
Is there a free plan?
Yes. The Developer plan includes 3 active monitors, 60-second polling, email and browser push alerts, and full access to our CSS Selector Tester tool. No credit card required.
How is DiffFlow different from full-page screenshot tools?
Screenshot tools trigger alerts whenever an ad changes, a video autoplays, or a font renders slightly differently across browser versions. DiffFlow isolates DOM nodes via CSS selectors and normalizes text, eliminating visual false positives entirely.
